How I Actually Teach My Students

Some people think the way I conduct class is teaching how to chant mantra, oracles, meditation and dabbling with the metaphysics.

They couldn't be more wrong.

I always teach my students, spirituality can only be pure when we have successfully conducted ourselves as a human being, a child, parent, friend, sibling, spouse and a boss.

It's easy to run away and seek refuge in religion, it's too easy.

And it's wrong.

Buddha never teach that believing in Buddhism will bring you eternal peace, He says, we have to find peace within ourselves 1st. And then he stops.

Why did he stop?

Because there're 1001 ways to get to Rome, just find the one most suitable for you. If He's going to list all the ways to Rome, the Buddhist Scriptures will be endless.

And did I mention that I-Ching is packed with wise philosophical truths too? Aside their oracle bit that is uncannily accurate? Yes, that.

Meditation, mantra, oracles and the metaphysics are just part of the equation, they will never, ever be the full equation. Never.

Ever see people in the religious or metaphysics profession having absolutely bad relationships with their family and/or spouse? There're many.

I'm not saying that I'm living a perfect life, but I live a true heart life where I fall, I learn, and I pick myself up. With that, I pass the knowledge down to my students.

Because I've been there.

We have to pass the issue of "I don't know that I don't know" and "I don't want to know" before anything good can even knock on our door. The heart and will is more powerful than any weapon on earth.

Meaning, if everyone of us really want peace on earth, it can happen. But the fact isn't so. Many of us have different gremlin(s) in our heart to upset our lives.

This is how issues starts = from the home.

We have to find that gremlin, face it and fight it. And we have to win it before seeing a better life unfold.

So we must win.
